I have a few minutes in between packing, sorting and errands, so I thought I’d write up a quick post about the random thoughts swirling through my mind…
Good Ol’ Dryer
We just gave our dryer away for free. We bought it a year or two ago when our old and well used, second hand one died. I think we paid $75 for this dryer, also second hand. We tried selling it, but nobody bought it, so since we’re getting down to the wire, we just listed it for free on craigslist and in a few hours it was gone! Even though we didn’t get any money for it, it still makes me happy that this dryer has lasted for at least 3 people. I’m so glad it’s gonna be getting used more. It’s a little old and probably takes longer to dry than most newer models, but it does the trick and isn’t ready for the scrap yard yet!

Freebies are a lifesaver!
Right now I’m really appreciating those little sample-sized freebies I have! I ran out of hair conditioner and laundry detergent, which is good because I want to take as little with me as possible, and not waste much if we have to leave some here. Instead of going out and buying new full sized bottles of conditioner and detergent, I’ve been using my freebies. So far I haven’t had to buy more…we’ll see if I can make them last a couple more weeks….but I have a feeling I’ll still have to buy some laundry detergent before we get to Missouri.

Free Tea
Speaking of freebies, did you know they’re giving away free sweet tea at McCallister’s today? I LOVE their tea and since I have to go into town today, I think I might swing by and grab me a free cup! Image may be NSFW.
